FINIS Backstroke Starting Wedge

Very sturdy and pretty straightforward set up. Once I had it set up the first time installing the wedge for subsequent workouts has been a quick process. The straps have stretched a bit with use but they seem to be settling in now. I was concerned about how this product would work at the pool where I work out due to the bullnose edge that protrudes at deck level. This has not been an issue at all.

I bought these for a team to use at practice. Most pool walls are way too slippery to practice backstroke starts, so this is a must-have. As long as you have a starting block, you can easily set up these wedges. It might take a minute to adjust the length the first time you use it, but it's very straightforward. Conveniently, they take up almost no storage space.

I just received a set of these and we used them in practice. They work great! Previously, my swimmers did not have access to backstroke wedges until they go to a championship meet These give them an opportunity to gain experience in a practice setting with minimal set-up.
