Backstory: If it were possible to be barefoot 24/7, I would do it. I absolutely HATE shoes. I can never find any that fit my wacko duck feet. Because of my autism, I walk primarily on the balls of my feet. Doing this for 31 years, has caused my feet to be disfigured. They are extremely wide at the ball and unusually narrow at the heel. When I’️m FORCED to wear shoes, I remove them the first chance I get. Now, for the review part: These are the most COMFORTABLE shoes I have EVER worn. So much so I FORGET I’️M WEARING THEM! I have gone a full day of wearing them without realizing it SO MANY TIMES! The way they form to my feet and allow me to grip onto things with my toes as I’️m hiking, oh my goodness, I cannot express enough how much I love these shoes! I want to only ever wear these types of shoes for the rest of my life. If there was a winter pair of these shoes, for living in Maine, I can absolutely guarantee I would want them.

My other pairs of Vibram five fingers are a size 40. However in this reef shoe, I had to have a size 42. That resulted in a return, a refund and took time that I was not counting on. My phonecalls were addressed in a very helpful and polite manner.

I have warned Vibram five fingers for many years and this version runs much smaller than their normal sizing. Plus, the sizing advertised by the vendor is different from that inside the shoe itself. Order carefully. It runs small.
