Underwater Audio SYRYN 8GB MP3 Player with Swimbuds Headphones and Goggle

My wife purchased this item for me for Valentine’s Day. It did not come in the original packaging. We determined it was missing the charging cable. I was able to purchase one for around $5 on Amazon and had it in a few days. The unit charged fine but the computer did not recognize it and I was not able to upload any music to it. My wife called four different times to get a RMA. She kept being told it had been emailed and it had not. On call number 4 the customer service rep said she could tell it had never been sent. She stayed on the phone until my wife received it. Today is March 8 and we still have not received any credit. I have done many transactions with Swimoutlet and recommended them many times to the students I teach swimming to. I am very disappointed with this product and the entire transaction.

I was very excited to get this player so I could listen to music underwater while swimming. Music was easy to load and while the swimbuds aren't the absolute best, the player was simple and worked very well. That was until today when I tried to load more music. The syryn freezed up and crashed, meaning that the music that was loading became corrupted. Now my mac keeps forcefully ejecting it and I cannot figure out how to delete these files. Also my mac doesn't recognize it anymore. I am giving this one star, because there seems to be no solution to fix this and now because of that, I lost about $60 for nothing.

Adding music was easy but I had to convert my iTunes music and downloads to mp3. Very easy to do in iTunes account. However, the trouble I had was with the drive constantly saying it was corrupt. I deleted the introduction message and have had better luck with loading music. As far as functionality, the unit works great in and out of the water. It's a bit thick so when doing flip turns or swimming butterfly the unit will sometimes flip over where the buttons are pressing against you head and it with randomly skip through songs until you flip it back over. The other problem I had with it, the earbuds are uncomfortable. I normally use the smallest rubber ear inserts with other brands and there is no way to change the size on these earbuds. The goop the give helps a little.
