Underwater Audio HydroActive Waterproof Headphones

I have an unusually small ear and had difficulty finding buds that would fit, stay in while swimming, and produce the right sound. These waterproof earphones have an assortment of buds and I could go through them all to find the one that fit the best. The fit can't be too tight or it muffles the sound completely. I find the plastic piece that fits around the back of the neck is too big for my smaller woman's sized head (I also wear a small size hat) and it flops around a little but I'm getting used to it. The earphones are a little pricey but it's worth it to have tunes when I swim laps.

I'm open to the idea that not every set of ears and head and body are the same.As a slim-build guy with an average-sized head, these headphones should have worked just right.But, this product was a severe disappointment after Underwater Audio's other hits.There were/are goods and bads but the bads far outweigh the goods.The good:1.The case is amazing.Water resistant to the point that I can have it on the pool deck, even right next to my lane.Case has a slot for Underwater Audio's SYRN8 to clip on to.Case fit and finish are outstanding.2.This set comes with a LOT of different tips for the headphones.No matter your ear size, the activity you're doing, or the conditions you're doing it in, there is a tip included.I had no trouble finding the perfect tip.3.The fit of the headphones over the ear is GREAT.4.The "squeeze" of the band keeping the buds in your ears is GREAT.The bad:1.The band that wrapped around the back of my head got in the way of my stroke and didn't allow me full movement of my head.This is obviously a personal thing, but it is a thing.It may affect you.2.The sound quality is TERRIBLE.HORRIBLE.Like a muffled cell phone in the wind from the year 2000.Worse than basic Apple buds.Light years worse than Underwater Audio's other swimbuds.The two bads far outweigh anything good about this product.I've returned it.
