  • 10/31/2020 Soft hair again

    5 Review Stars By Andrea

It works to get the chlorine out for soft hair again

  • 7/31/2015 Not for wavy/curly hair

    2 Review Stars By Jennifer

I have naturally wavy/curly hair, and it becomes very frizzy after using this product. It did soften my hair after swimming without a cap, but if your hair is like mine you'll need something richer/thicker than this product. If Ultra Swim came out with a post-swim conditioner for very dry and/or curly hair, I would give it a try. Until then, I'll shampoo with Ultra Swim, but use my usual conditioner.

  • 11/7/2013 It's been a big help

4 Review Stars By Patricia McIntyre

I left a review with the Ultraswim Shampoo product, so you can read the whole thing there. I've only been using the shampoo and conditioner for just over a week and they have helped tremendously. I'm in the water at least 10 hours a week and started to actually get bald on top. I've been in the pool for years, but not with head submerged in the water. A few months ago I started to swim with a snorkel and OMG! I can't tell you how bad it got. But these products have helped a lot. I also use something my sister game me under my cap now. I wet my hair, but that product on then use the Ultraswim products when I show getting out of the pool. I don't even get normal amount of hair breakage now when I comb my hair after showering. I recommend this product.

I really like this product. Since using it my hair is less dry and brittle after swimming.

  • 2/28/2013 Use the Ultraswim shampoo, but skip the conditioner.

    1 Review Stars By Aussiefish

This is not a great conditioner. I have used about1/2 the bottle after only three uses and my hair feels very dry. Alternatively,  I would (highly) recommend using the Ultraswim shampoo to remove chlorine odor and buildup from your hair and then use a better quality regular conditioner instead.

  • 2/12/2020 Very runny

    2 Review Stars By Ann

I think it does get the chlorine smell out of your hair but it is very runny.  Runs through your fingers before you can get it on your hair.

  • 10/27/2013 necessary product

The boys need it, and wouldn't want to be without it during swim season.

  • 11/21/2019 buy the shampoo, skip the conditioner

    1 Review Stars By mosh

I like the UltraSwim chlorine removal shampoo, but I will not buy the conditioner again. I have used it for about a month to give it a fair chance, but it is terrible. It either feels like I haven't used conditioner at all; or, if I use a lot, it leaves my hair feeling tacky and gross. Also, it is very watery, as if it has been watered down. I recommend buying the shampoo and skipping the conditioner.

After using the Ultraswim Shampoo, we follow up with this conditioner. This is the best brand that I have found. No more chlorine smell; only silly soft hair.

About This Brand

Ultraswim's Shampoo and Conditioner provides one of the best protections on the market for chlorine-damaged hair. Claiming to morph "swimmer's hair" into "salon-beautiful hair", Ultraswim's benevolent shampoo formula contains humectants, aloe, and vitamin E to leave hair less damaged and chlorine-free. The reformulated Ultra Repair Conditioner gives that extra ounce of moisture to leave hair soft and manageable. Acquired by Chattem, Inc in 1986, Ultraswim's Shampoo and Conditioner which is gentle enough to use everyday, gives to swimmers what pool chemicals take out- lustrous and damage-free hair.
