    it works great

  • 1/24/2014 Good, but a bit flimsy

4 Review Stars By James C.

I do about 400 yards of pull during my daily workouts and was looking for something to put more resistance on my arms, and these certainly do. They're fantastic. I chose these paddles because of the extra resistance due to size, but the issue is I don't have extra large hands. When I pull you can feel a bend in the paddle on the sides where my hands don't reach. It's not a problem at all, but if you don't have hands that fit these be aware that you will feel a bend.

    5 Review Stars By JCat

I''ve used the original Catalysts for years, and it was time for me to finally move up to the next size.  These are much thinner than the original ones, but as long as you maintain proper form this is not an issue at all.  The holes are in different places, and I prefer the options with the old Catalysts, but there are still plenty of options and I found one that worked for me.  I strongly recommend these but make sure you use correct form or you run the risk of injury to your shoulder.  Also, it is helpful to note that they recommend going down one size for strokes other than the typical freestyle/front crawl.

    4 Review Stars By RedRiver's

I read a review that said If the length from wrist to end of your middle finger measured 7"  the correct paddle size would be XS.  Mine measured 6", so I ordered XXS.  ;These paddles are useable but the next size larger would be ideal.

previously used other paddles for approximately 5 years, hoping for an upgrade in tubing and a like the new shape. However, this version is too flimsy and bends.

  • 11/3/2015 hold up good

5 Review Stars By Swimmer at NHA

We got these because the size she needed was always gone at swim practice by the time she was there to grab them.  They came quickly when ordered.  The only thing was the straps were confusing to place.  I put them in according to the paper but she had the coach adjust them because they didn't fit the way the ones at practice do.  I got different straps for her so she can tell hers from the teams when they are all at the side of the pool.  So far she really likes them but we have only had them a few months.

  • 6/9/2014 Excellent Training Tool

5 Review Stars By Spring TAN

Well-designed, excellent training tool. The paddles do not fall off easily, and do not strain my shoulders. Other paddles I have used strained my shoulders and I had to tighten the hand straps really tight to feel like they are part of my hands, and at the end of 40 laps, my fingers were numbed and painful. These paddles are different, slightly flexible and fit hands naturally without the need to tighten the straps too much. I haven't encountered any problems so far. My coach recommended them and I love them! Splendid choice of colours too. My palm from base to tip of middle finger is 7 inches and XS size is perfect for me.
