Feel the water while improving your stroke and pull power with the improved TYR Catalyst 2 Training Paddles.
previously used other paddles for approximately 5 years, hoping for an upgrade in tubing and a like the new shape. However, this version is too flimsy and bends.

I have never used a different kind of paddle to compare these to. But after watching some online videos from different companies I decided to go with these. They seem to be the most common.
They feel good and do exactly what I was looking for.
I read a review that said If the length from wrist to end of your middle finger measured 7" the correct paddle size would be XS. Mine measured 6", so I ordered XXS. ;These paddles are useable but the next size larger would be ideal.
Good, but a bit flimsy
I do about 400 yards of pull during my daily workouts and was looking for something to put more resistance on my arms, and these certainly do. They're fantastic. I chose these paddles because of the extra resistance due to size, but the issue is I don't have extra large hands. When I pull you can feel a bend in the paddle on the sides where my hands don't reach. It's not a problem at all, but if you don't have hands that fit these be aware that you will feel a bend.
hold up good
We got these because the size she needed was always gone at swim practice by the time she was there to grab them. They came quickly when ordered. The only thing was the straps were confusing to place. I put them in according to the paper but she had the coach adjust them because they didn't fit the way the ones at practice do. I got different straps for her so she can tell hers from the teams when they are all at the side of the pool. So far she really likes them but we have only had them a few months.

Just what coach suggested
Solid training tool
Sturdy, easy to use. Solid product that should last a long time.
love the paddles - but make sure of sizing
I have used these paddles in my swimming class. I ordered them because I liked them so much. However I ordered a size larger than I used in class because I could not remember which size. They still work great, but because I have a wonky and sometimes aggravated shoulder I need a smaller size so not to create too much stress on it.
Not bulky, easy to use
These are great, sturdy and easy to use for kids during "pull" especially".
