We have been using these Papasan floats for a few years now. We happened to see one in a sporting goods store just before going on a cruise and bought it on a whim. Wow, did we ever have fun and “swimming” has never been so much fun. When we got back we bought a second one for the next trip. We are always the envy of others at the beach. They are easy to inflate with just a few puffs and the plug does a good job sealing in the air for the entire day. Even the next day there is enough air, although we give it another fresh puff. I weigh 250 lbs and this thing keeps me afloat with no problems and the netting/webbing that I sit in has been sturdy and shown no signs of weakening. We have used our Papasans about 3 years now and except for a bit of internal discoloring (our saliva?), thy still look great. While in Aruba recently, one of the vendors renting various floats offered to buy them from us. We gave them to her on our last day and came home to order two new ones. Do yourself a favor and buy one, you will not regret it. It packs up small and flat and fits in any suitcase. And if it doesn’t, the case has a loop for hanging it up so you could always attach it with a clip to your backpack.
