Seems mostly for younger, fitter, competitive swimmers. I am 67 and just beginning to get a handle on basic strokes. I already have Terry Laughlin's freestyle video which is very helpful. I did get some ideas from this, though.

Jimmy and Kara Lynn are two of the fastest swimmers in history and they teach with a passion and enthusiasm that jumps off the screen. From the different tips and drills to the slow motion and underwater features, this video provides the viewer with a detailed account on how to swim faster. I particularly enjoyed the question and answer feature at the end of the video, along with the out-takes!

What I really love about this video is that it focuses on a lot of the small details, from start-to-finish of your sprint race, where the details are all that matters. Things like going immediately from the dolphin kick into the flutter kick, keeping a high elbow...neither Kara Lynn nor Jimmy tells you exactly how you must swim your freestyle (they're a perfect example of how different an effective, world-class stroke can be), but they focus on the things that ALL world-class sprinters incorporate into their strokes.
