Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I am buying Sporty Jammers for years and the size 36 was always right. Not this time. These and in camouflage color came way too small, so small in fact I had to return. No, I did not gain weight according to scales and old Sporty jammers I use. I re-ordered them in next size 38 and they are clearly too large for me. Something is wrong with sizing, but in the mean time i am being charged for shipping back and forth. No big deal, but...
