Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

This is my second sporting suit with a similar style. It is very comfortable, really pretty and I assume it will last a long time. I am only 5'2" and about 108 pounds. I ordered both in size 36 which is larger than I wear in street clothes. It seems they run a little small. Also, although the description says "sits low on the hips for moderate rear coverage", be advised. This suit is quite high cut. Flattering, but not moderate rear coverage. Still, a beautiful suit which will probably become a favorite.
