Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

These are a bit cheeky I will admit. As they are the uniform, I wear them. I really like the drawstring, though if you don’t tuck it in correctly it leaves ugly lumps in the silhouette of the front. But I don’t mind that!
