  • 5/6/2017 Great bottoms

    5 Review Stars By KTmountainmama

Great suit. I've only swam in it once. I did about 1800M of mainly free and breast stroke. It didn't move at all, didn't gather water. I am 5'7", 127, broad shoulders, bigger hips and 34AA. Petite from navel to back, though, and short from navel to crotch. According to the sizing chart, I was in the lower end of the medium measurements. It fits well. Definitely had to tie the drawstring tight. The seat area fits (I'm probably average for an athletic type in that area), but I worry a bit how it will fit as the suit has more wear.

  • 5/4/2017 Smaller than expected

4 Review Stars By Nancy S.

I used the size chart to select the "right" size, which according to my hip measurements (33" - 34") would be an XS. The bottoms run small. The next size up would probably have worked. The quality of the suit is great! I've ordered Orca products before. It's a good product line overall. I just think that even if I tried the small size in the bottoms, the cut of the bottoms would still be a bit too cheeky for my taste. I don't think cheeky bottoms are attractive on most older women (like me 55+), if you know what I mean:)

These will be so great in the water.  Fit is fab.  Somewhere between a bikini and a short.  Fit per size.

More From ORCA

About This Brand

Orca

In 1992, Scott Unsworth, a former New Zealand age-group triathlon champion, stopped competing due to a chronic back injury. Through his experience working as a swim coach, and from his first-hand experience in triathlon competition, Scott saw that the wetsuits being used by triathletes were completely inadequate for swimming, and he started a company called Performance Speedsuits Ltd.

Scott's early designs were directly inspired by his personal experience with the demands of the sport, and to this day Orca's designs and features are the direct result of working with professional athletes. In the five short years since Orca was launched in 1995 the brand was able to firmly establish itself as a favorite among the world's elite triathletes, and at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia two thirds of all triathlon competitors wore Orca Speedsuits in the swim leg of the event.

Orca products continue to be designed by and tested on athletes, not computer models, so you can be sure that the designs, materials and production techniques that go into Orca's championship-winning suits are always on the cutting edge.
