Orca Men's S6 Fullsleeve Tri Wetsuit

I am new to swimming in a wetsuit, and haven't actually done it yet, so take this with a grain of salt. I'm 5'11'', 165lbs and got a size 7. It fit perfectly. It felt just like a 2nd skin. No extra material gathering anywhere and the mobility felt pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the 2mm rubber in the arms. It felt like it restricted movement more than wetsuits with 1.5mm in the sleeves and shoulders. Other than that, it felt great when I just tried it on. I did not swim in it, so I can't say how it would have felt in the water.

Great fitting & looking suit! It's a tight fit, with soft smooth skin rubber so use the cotton gloves to put it on so as not to tear it with your finger nails...! One thing i noticed is that the suit arrived new, but when unwrapped, the exterior was covered with a whitish power or something but it does wash off eventually. The suit compared to Xterra, Zone 3, TYR...has a very strong rubber smell that i guess will lessen in time, but you won't notice outdoors - just beware of hanging it indoors after washing in a main room if the smell bothers you. It's like going into a scuba shop & there you will notice the same smell - just part of many dive, surf, and "Tri" suits - but i would buy it again for sure.

This is my third tri suit and second Orca over 12 years, and I am very pleased once again. Keep in mind this is a RACING suit! If you are purchasing it for a different reason, go a size up as the other comments suggest. If you are a competitive triathlete and using it for its intended purpose, it fits true to size. I am 6'1" and 185 with a 42" chest, so I'm at the top end of size 7 and the bottom end of size 9. I ordered an 8 and it fits exactly as it's made to- comfortably tight for performance swimming. I can't wait to get in the water with it. I placed the order early in the morning and it arrived by noon the next day, so shipping exceeded expectations as well.

If I was just rating the wetsuit it would be a 4 or 5. I used it last weekend in a triathlon and it helped immensely. The water temp was just below 70 and it kept me warm throughout the swim. I am 6'1 / 200lbs and the size 9 fit great. The reason for the low stars is the delivery if ordered before was terrible. I did not receive the product when they said I would. Very disappointed you would advertise something like that and not have it happen. Please take that off your website if you can't actually guarantee when it will arrive.
