  • 5/2/2021 Not to hot not to cold - just right

    5 Review Stars By Goldielocks

I wanted something to keep me my warm when I fall into the water and to help with the wind chill. But to also not over heat between falling.
I went by the size chart - it’s pretty good I could have gone slightly smaller but for my sport - windsurfing, wing foiling I’d rather have a little wiggle room then it be tighter tight fit like If I was surfing then I’d want it snug.
The length of leg is not too long (which is dorky) or too short - some suits ride up and you spend more time pulling it down, lol this fits nice

    12/22/2020 Sweetest little spring suit!

5 Review Stars By Phoebe K.

I just love this little suit. I tried on similar styles in several other brands (XCEL and RipCurl) and this one felt the best. It's snug, stretchy, soft, and simple. Goes on and comes off easy, dries quick, looks good, so comfy I forget I am wearing it. Sweet little details like a butter smooth facing on the inside collar, and the extra velcro bit that prevents the neck flap from snagging the inside of the suit. LOVE that the logos are tastefully subtle. I'm 5'0", 125lbs, 32b, and the 6 fits perfect. I wear it for open water swimming in late summer as a transition between skins and a tri suit, and in the winter for quick cold dips with gloves and booties.

  • 11/2/2020 nice "fall jacket" for 60-61 degree open water swimming

5 Review Stars By Julie A.

I bought this for open water swimming when our water dropped below 62 and I was starting to get cold, but was not yet ready to bust out my big wetsuit, and this does the trick! I'm a pear-shaped 5'5"/120 and I bought the 8. It's a little roomy in the shoulders and I do get some water coming in the back of the neck, but it's comfortable and keeps me warm, not too much water "pooling", and flexible enough in the shoulders for swimming. I'm very happy with this, and I think it'll buy me a nice 4-6 weeks between "skins" and a full wetsuit this fall, and probably in the spring too.

  • 3/13/2019 So cute, tight neck

4 Review Stars By Cheryl D.

I LOVE this springsuit, but unfortunately although it fit everywhere else, the neck felt like it was choking me.  It was the exact colors and combo I was looking for (long sleeve, short leg, full zip).  I'm 5'7", 132 lbs., and this suit in a size 4 fit perfectly everywhere except the neck, which was far too tight.  I'm so disappointed -- would have loved to have this darling suit.

About This Brand

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
