  • 8/18/2017 Best Rash Guard for Swim Workouts

    5 Review Stars By Larry

I've tried numerous long sleeve rashguards, and this one lasts about 1 year.  I swim (competitive workouts) 5-6 days a week for 1-2 hrs.   Usually take a total of 3-4 months off for travel.  I usually have 2-3 shirts I rotate among.

I wear it for sun protection during all seasons...I work out in outdoor pools in Florida.
It has a nice tight fit, but flexes for all strokes..   I normally wear a large shirt, and I wear a large in this product.

  • 11/18/2020 Great quality shirt - return/exchange policy sucks

4 Review Stars By Donald G.

Like some of the other posts say - these are very tight (form fitting) which is what it's suppose to be, but damn tight is too much and a bear to take off.  For me I should have ordered two sizes up maybe (I ordered the large) -  I'm a 60yo 5'10" 182lbs man. I scuba dive, but will use primarily for swimming in a pool during cooler months.
I do want to reiterate that the quality of the product is very good.
BTW - swim outlet return/exchange policy really sucks.

  • 6/26/2015 O'Neill Rash guard

    5 Review Stars By William

I wore this rash guard in the windy surf last week in Destin, Fla.  It has a great feel, didn't bunch up, and protected my skin as it advertises.  I didn't have to go to the wife's beach bag for sunscreen every 40 minutes as I usually do while I'm at the beach.  Do yourself a favor and wear a rash guard when you go to the beach.

  • 9/30/2020 This product was unusable. I went to a north shore showroom to check for my size

5 Review Stars By Dr Greg

This product was unusable.. I had gone to a north shore show room and was fitted in an O’Neal rash guard.. the large was perfect. The one which was delivered was TINY. An average 12 year old boy could not get it on!  Since I have huge shipping here in Hawaii I chose to eat the expenses. VERY RECLUCTANTLY

  • 7/3/2018 Too Tight

3 Review Stars By Bob Thompson

I normally wear a Large but I ordered an XL buy it was way too tight. I feel the XXL would have also been too tight.

  • 7/8/2020 Long Sleeve Crew Rashguard

3 Review Stars By Long Sleeve Crew Rashguard

It seems like it is way too small but all the material is the right size meaning the sleeves are long enough and the front comes down far enough. I mean IT IS TIGHT! Perhaps my other rash guards are all stretched out. I am not going to return it for a bigger size.

More From O'NEILL

About This Brand

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
