O'Neill Men's 4/3MM Psycho Freak Z.E.N. Back Zip Fullsuit

Had a few weeks of sessions with this suit in chilly NorCal. I’m very impressed with the quality, warmth and minimalist style of this suit. I’m partial to chest zip suits, but this Z.E.N. Zip system is really nice. I help kids learn to surf and I’m always rolling around in turbulent inside-breaking waves, so I really appreciate the protection against flushing this suit provides. It compares favorably to my chest-zip suits. I hate Velcro on suits but there is a little tab to secure the Velcro which protects the suit while changing. The Firewall and Technobutter (who comes up with these names?) lining plus the welded seams help me focus on surfing and working with the kids without even thinking about the 50 degree water. I like the attention to detail in the cuffs and collar: they’re designed to prevent flushing and fraying. The price was high but I waited for a sale. I may have just switched to O’Neill suits from now on.
