True to size. and really nice. It is a suit bottom with light material for the shorts. Highly recommend. I thought my thighs would look larger in them, but cut is flattering with slits on the side of the shorts.

These were comfortable and cute, bought an XL and I'm wearing about a size 12 right now. Fits exactly how it should - not too big/not too small! It has a swim liner in it too. When I go down a size or two, I imagine that I will still be able to wear these shorts to swim or workout.
