I bought this bolster as a new addition to my restorative practice. I already had a rectangular firm/hard bolster and needed a round not so firm to complement my practice. Having said this, yes, this bolster is not firm/hard, if you put your entire back on it, it will compress to the floor. I love to use it under my knees during savasana, under my thoracic spine for a gentle backbend opening, and as a cushion for meditation.

This is the bolster that my studio carries. I wanted the same one for my meditation practice. It is very comfortable and gives you the support you need. It does start to sink if you sit on the same area every time, but I kinda like that. It also feels great to lay on!

I am 5'1" and most bolsters under my knees leave my feet dangling in the air. This bolster s just the right size and the material is super soft.
