I swam competitively as a kId from elementary school into college. Since I still swim to keep in shape, I''m always looking for a new suit, so I bought the brief and the "square leg" version. A while back, I had another Jaked suit and liked the combination of durability and comfort. This one is no exception. I''ve used it for a number of workouts and it is holding up to the chlorine. One minor concern is the integrity of the fabric where the drawstrings exit. Since the suit is a bit large, I''ve really cinched it up to the point where the strings dig into the material. Fit: Do pay attention to the sizing--particularly the hip measurement since this suit rides lower than some of the other briefs. I mistankenly ordeded a size too large by following only my waist size which corresponds to an Italian/Euro 5, but I kept it anyway. I''m 6 feet tall, 170 lbs with a true 32 inch waist, I don''t have much in the way of hip girth...only about 36 inches there. Out of the pool, the size up means it''s more comfortable for all-day wear, but will sag a bit after a few laps, but that''s true of any oversized suit. Otherwise, it''s a nice compromise between a very brief Sporti Euro and a brief with wider sides. So far, the brief is serving me well, and the "square leg" is great for a bit more coverage at the beach or pool so I don''t embarrass my family too much.
