Great mat! The thickness supports my knees, and the weight keeps it from slipping on the tile floor. The stickiness makes it easier to get into and hold poses, which builds skill and confidence (unexpected benefits!)If you have pets, stray pet hairs do stick to the mat but not a big deal for me.

Very secure footing. Smell is obvious but not daunting. Appreciate the thickness as it adds comfort for joints.

I bought this yoga mat in 2010. I use it 2-5 x’s weekly every week. Finally, years later, needing to replace it, I knew this may would be the one I wanted. I love it and it’s non slip surface. The density of the thicker mats, help protect you as you practice. My cats love to walk/sleep on it, so practice Is interrupted ; ). It is well worth the investment. Also glad that this is recycled material and they plant a tree to when you buy a mat!
