I had no idea yoga mat's came with this kind of grip! At least not the kind of no-slip that I need since my palms often get sweaty when practicing. The mat is sleek looking (if that matters); it's the right thickness for everyday use and carrying around--it's not too heavy. I sometimes get very sweaty during practice and slipping and sliding on the mat is really minimal with the grip feature. I don't do hot/heated yoga so I don't know how sweaty and wet you could get before (or if) the grip stops working.

Great grip and thickness. I have sensitive knees due to old injuries. I can do runner’s stretch with no problems on this mat. And No Slippage!
