Dolfin Women's Lightstrike Bonded Open Back, Regular Torso,Tight Leg, Tech Suit Swimsuit

I just purchased this tech suit for my 14 yo daughter. She typically wears speedo tech suits however due to the 12 and under regulations and her being a thinner 14 year old it has been increasingly difficult to find the quality that she wants in the smaller size that she needs. She typically wears a size 18 in a Speedo tech suit and the newer nicer tech suits either don’t come in an 18 or are sold out. So we decided to try Dolfin. Already knowing that Dolfin runs smaller than speedo tech suits I ordered this in a size 22 and it is perfect! For reference, my daughter is between 5’5 and 5’6 and about 115 lbs. She normally wears a size 26 Jolyn or Nike practice suit. Getting this Dolfin tech suit past her hips was the most difficult part and could have easily caused me to give up and go up a size which ultimately would have been a bad decision but we persevered. It helps if you can get your hand inside the suit to help pull it up around the hip area. She loves the look and feel of the suit. She hasn’t worn it in the pool yet so I can’t rate how it performs.

The fit is tight in the core and the legs are tight, but not as tight as the core. They almost feel a little loose compared to the core. My daughter wears a size 24 training suit and a 22 in the Arena Flex or Carbon series. She wears a size 24 in the Dolfin LightStrike regular chest, regular torso and tight leg. It took her over 15 minutes to put it on. We could not get the LightStrike 22 on. She is 55" 108lbs thin build. We have not used it yet so I cant speak on how it does in the pool.
