i bought this to help in an upcoming triathlon. I am 6'7 and weigh 260 so I bought size 7. It fit really well. No problems putting on or taking off the speed tube. while swimming you immediately are in a great horizontal position with a feeling that you are swimming downhill. It felt really fast and like you could swim forever. Very nice. I am glad I did not purchase any top, this gives me full range of motion, I am not fighting a wet suit to try to swim at all, in my case the water was not so cold that I needed the warmth. Also, this is great for freestyle. I cannot swim breastroke at all in this suit, In fact I do not know how you would swim breastroke effectively with the bouyancy of a wet suit. That was an issue for me because I swim both free style and breastroke. That is not a problem of the equipment, it is my problem to get more endurance in my free style. I love this product.

I purchased this for an upcoming triathlon in Hawaii. Fairly easy to pull off. It seems a little strange to swim in because of its buoyancy, but it did appear to be a couple minutes faster on a 1.2 mile swim.

Speed tube - wet suit bottoms fit well and pull-on and slide-off easily. For the first two years of triathlon events I swam with a full body wetsuit. Two years ago I switched to the two piece option offered by deSoto. I love the options for sleeved or sleeveless tops, and separate bottoms. I can get the best fit possible with a top that fits and bottoms that are a different size.

This is fabulous, it's all that it was presented and more. Sizing is very important as fit is essential. The product arrived as promised. It takes a couple of seconds to put on and much less time to take off than a full length wet suit. Perfect for times when the temperature is borderline for longer races. Many thanks to a friend for suggesting it!
