As a former competitive swimmer who still swims hard but who also has become "larger" over the years (now in my late 60's), I prefer jammer type swim suites.  Unfortunately, jammers top out at size 38.  Not to worry since tri shorts come in larger sizes.  Yes, I know the manufacturers warn against using tri shorts regularly in chlorinated water but I have had satisfactory durability if I rinse the tri shorts well and wash them occasionally in cold water.  The Canari Kailua tri shorts fit me well, are comfortable in the pool, and seem to be holding up well.  They are also reasonably priced.  I am very satisfied with them.

    Fit well

Pad is supposed to be thin on a tri short. So, on the run, it doesn't feel like a diaper. Or interfere on the swim.

Poor quality. Size little big than others brands sizes. Very thin the seat pad. No refund. No return.
