Body Glove Women's Soak Wide Fit Water Shoe

I purchases the normal size I wear and these fit perfectly. They are comfortable for swimming and protect the bottom of my feet from rocks, slime, and uncomfortable stair treads. I like these shoes very much. I'm disappointed, though, that after two wearings, the bottom of one is coming apart. The very bottom layer is a rubbery material under that is a layer of fabric similar to landscape fabric. Then there's another rubbery layer. The very bottom rubbery layer has worn off the ball of the left foot and the fabric is torn and flapping revealing the next rubbery layer. I'm out of the country for 3 months so I'm living with this problem. My spouse bought a pair, too, and this isn't happening to her shoes. We'll see what happens.
