So the waist is a set measurement. Would work better for women with drawstring because we fluctuate and to keep it snug when it gets wet. Also women with curvey shapes have to size up to accommodate our curves leavin us extra room at the waist. Fabric is great. . . Thin and quick dry but if you get a snugger fit be prepared to reveal more than you want as there is no masking Fabric incorporated. Will only wear at home when we don't have guests.
