  • 10/16/2017 Well constructed shoe!

    5 Review Stars By davernon

I bought this shoe for water fitness training, but, have not yet been able to wear them because of using current pairs of shoes.

From what I received, I am pleased with the construction and the 'feel' of these Body Glove shoes  Knowing that they will work nicely in and out of the water! also the vent-holes sort of 'worried me on possible discomfort ,  but they are really nicely 'form fit"  -thus  eliminating discomfort'  Time will tell, on Durability.

For one week, I put these shoes through hell. From standing in the surf fishing, to walking in up to knee deep mud collecting mussels, to clamming, also in mud. In my opinion, the holes in the top and side are too big. They allow in shells and snails. Yes a snail. All things considered, these shoes held up better than I expected them to. I don't expect anyone to build a shoe just for me, but if they reduce the size of the holes on the top and side, I would recommend theses shoes. Order at least one size larger than you normally wear.

  • 9/13/2017 Wide Shoes

    5 Review Stars By Cadu

I am wondering when the american shoe manufacture will come to a conclusion  that  its customer base is demanding wide shoes, because we ' re a large frame society , and  since the entirely shoe industry shifted to Asia and  forthat reason the shoes are generally small in size and width ! It s time to shift back to our needs since we pay the high price for an asian american made shoe

Wasn't sure what to expect but they worked out well.  Was on a canoe trip and the shoes gave me no worries about getting wet.

  • 2/17/2017 not what I was hoping for

Pay close attention to the fact that there is no separate tongue on these shoes, and the opening does not stretch at all.  I think the only people that might be able to even get these on, in the right length, are people with very skinny feet.  I was barely able to get one on and certainly not the other.  I have wide feet with a high arch.  The length was good, but I could never wear them.  I had to return them.  It is obvious just from the look of these that they were trying to copy the original Merrell Trail Glove.  They aren't even close.  I'm not saying they are a bad shoe, but you are getting what you pay for and you had better have skinny feet.  Don't expect these to be minimal running shoes.  They are water shoes.

5 Review Stars By Steve E.

The size 13 fit true to size and is very comfortable. Even though it has no cushioning midsole it is comfortable walking and seems to have good grip on wet surfaces in the rain. I would buy it again.

  • 1/19/2017 GREAT Shoe ! ! ! Thumbs up!!

5 Review Stars By Matt B.

I am a pretty hardcore water-walker / water-runner. Finding long-lasting, truly-supportive, durable water shoes for walking and/or running in water had been extremely difficult - until I finally found these!  I LOVE these shoes.
    A) Great fit (I see a lot of size issues, size complaints, and size questions on this site regarding shoes, and I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, but I will say that I ordered the exact same size in these water shoes as I wear in "regular" shoes, and the fit is perfect.  I have used them several times now, and the fit remains great, with no uncomfortable rubbing/friction/blistering.  They ARE close to being a tight, snug fit in terms of when putting them on, but honestly, they're fine. They aren't really hard to put on.  With their nice tread on the bottoms, they provide great support in the water while water-walking / water-running, and I anticipate them lasting quite a lot longer than other water shoes I've previously just settled for.  Thumbs up, big time!
