  • 3/30/2015 One of the best suits for the price

    5 Review stars By COMSUMER

    Pros:
    AMAZING PRICE
TRUE TO SIZE, I usually wear a size 30 practice suit and i got a 28.
Easiest suit to put on! Less than 5 minutes! I've maximized the usage of this suit by putting it on after I warm up before my event. That's how convenient it is!
    Still maintains good compression.
Great Glide feel coming off the walls
    water repels very well
I've used it for 3 (3day) meets so far, and the repelency is still there, water beads still glide off when I leave the pool. I would say this can last you 2-3 big weekend long meets.

    Cons:
Elastic straps for the legs are not as secure after a couple uses, they tends to wear out and ride up, but nothing serious.
A bit of water may enter through the butt if you don't tie it really well.

On a closing note, I have to stress how great this suit really is for its price! Amazing!

  • 2/28/2017 Fits, but I'd size up from the chart.

4 Review stars By Gene M.

The size chart said it would fit, and it did, barely, after the obligatory 20 minute struggle.

As usual, the suit was too short for my rather long legs, resulting in the usual discomfort there.  Also, there was no room in the crotch once I got it pulled up.

The compression was pretty good when I finally got it on, but I have not had a chance to use it to see how well it does things like repel water.

I think, if I had it to do over, I'd go up a size and sacrifice some of the compression for a little comfort.

My son wore this suit for the first time at his high school county meet this past week and dropped 3 seconds in his 200 IM and 1.5 seconds in his 100 breast.  He liked that the suit was tight but was not uncomfortable to wear.  Water did not enter the suit and seemed to be repelled from the material similar to what wax does to a car.  Well worth the price.

Order one size down from a Speedo "Fast" suit.  Otherwise a great color and nice suit for the price!

Have not used it in water yet but the fit is awfully tight for a 36.

I read a tech suit review by an Olympic athlete.  In his review, he said that this suit was more comfortable than most, which resonated with me because my son usually hates tech suits because they are so uncomfortable.  The hydrophobic quality of this suit was great.  There is less compression than most tech suits, but my son loves it!  He dropped time in every event at AG LCM State Championships including 10.32 seconds in his 400 meter free for the win!

This was my son's first tech suit.  He is 12.  He swam in it at his LSC's Junior Olympics.  He dropped lots of time in it.  He was able to put it on himself without much difficulty.  He says it only takes about 5 minutes to put on  which was important to him.  I've read that some suits are only good for a few swims.  This suit has held up through 7, 3+ hour sessions and does not show any deteriation.
