Arena Women's Powerskin Carbon Air LTD Open Back Kneeskin Tech Suit Swimsuit

My daughter has used both Speedo and Arena tech suits, but Arena works much better for her body type (slim hips). With Arena, she has used both the Carbon Flex and Carbon Air and she loves them both. This most recent suit, the Carbon Air LTD was a big hit. I ordered it in the same size as her Carbon Flex (size 26, she is 5"6', 120 lbs). The Carbon Air took about 10 minutes to get on, but it was easier to get on than the Flex, which makes sense since the Flex has more compression. She raced well in the Air and found it to be comfortable--or as comfortable as a tech suit can be! She didn't have any issues with the shoulder straps being too restrictive or the seams irritating her. It's also a very attractive suit--we purchased the gray/blue with coral straps and fuchsia back--"reserved in the front and a party in the back", as she described it :-) All in all, she loved the suit and we will definitely stick with the Carbon Air for future purchases.

The last tech suit I had was a carbon air and I absolutely loved it, so I decided to order a dark grey/fuchsia LTD for my upcoming championship meet in the same size as my last carbon air. The suit went on great, was fitting amazingly like my last carbon air, and took a total of about 6 1/2 minutes to get on. Everything was going fine until the coral looking edges started to rub on my shoulders and along the sides of the breast area as soon as it went over my shoulders. I pulled out my old carbon air to compare the 2 suits, and the edges of the LTD are a lot rougher than the normal carbon airs. I had the suit on for less than 5 minutes because it was so scratchy. The suit left my shoulders and the sides of the breast area red and irritated for awhile after taking the suit off. I love arena tech suits and highly recommend them, but this suit was a huge disappointment. I will be returning this suit and trying something else.
