I had read on a review that the surface was somewhat "pebbly". I did not find this to be true for myself. It is more comfortable than I thought it would be to use. Very happy with decision to purchase.

Total comfort that supports the spine, and creates space to sit for a long time. I have 2 aside my living room table. I also have one in my meditation corner. It's an investment to purchase, but the quality and balanced comfort is worth it.

Absolutely loved the chair- the only downside causing me to return it was the fact that the picture online showed finish of vegan leather to be smooth however when received the vegan leather had a pebble grain.
