Fun Team Fact? RMST has sponsored the only open water swim in the local area for the past 27 years. It began as the Reston 2 mile lake swim. The name was changed to honor one of our founding members who died of Lymphoma. It then became the Jim McDonnell Lake Swims when we added a one-mile swim. We began donating some of the revenue from the race to the Lymphoma Research Foundation and several local charities. We have donated over $50,000 in the past 5 years
