      right thickness- too high

these are just right thickness for cold water swimming in the Northwest but they are too tall and impossible to get on. i cut about 3 inches off the top and now they are perfect. ordered a larger size as well

      Flawed design

Very hard to put on, challenging to remove due to their calf-length. I ended up cutting them to just above the ankles: easier to put on and to remove. Kept my toes warm long enough to complete my 30mn swim in 55F ocean water and slow down the afterdrop (decrease in core temp). Would not buy this design again.

      Sizing runs very small

I got Size small (unisex) and am normally an 8 or 8.5 in women's shoes. I could not get these on without working up a sweat - and the top of the sock was so tight (I have skinny legs) it cut off the circulation. I suggest sizing larger and being aware that snug is one thing, strangulating another. Ha.

      too small

I ordered the size that corresponded with the chart but they are too small. Also pretty thin for cold alaskan water. Quality seems decent though if you are somewhere with warmer water.

      Wider sizes needed!

Purchased these to help with winter time lap swimming in my San Jose, CA (water temps 56-72 degrees). Swim socks fit great except near the toe area, since I have have a 2EE foot width. Once they're on your foot, and in the water they do stretch some and thus are comfortable enough to swim in. Mainly, they were just thick enough to (1.5" neoprene thickness with spandex for stretch) to use in 62 degree water to keep feet from getting numb. I have only used these once so far, so maybe they'll continue to stretch little more with use. If you have a narrow or normal width shoe size these will be a great fit. Hopefully, in the future these will come in wider widths.Note: You can probably find thicker/warmer neoprene socks, but I'm trying not to wear too much thick neoprene to aid my pool swimming.
