I am a 60 year old masters swimmer that's been swimming for 54 years. I wanted resistance bands for dry land work and the red medium-heavy is just right. I've had a set of mediums for over 10 years and if you take care of them, they'll last. Good American product.

I just bought these and have used them only twice separated by about a week because I was so sore after both workouts. Waiting for my third workout in a day or two. I am a 61 year old strong, competitive, long distance open water swimmer. I have been swimming since I was 5. These green bands are plenty strong for me. I bought the red ones too, but will probably never use them, as the green ones provide plenty of resistance. For proper elbow position, attach them above a doorway and bend your body at the waist so your hands are at head height or slightly above.

Easy to use in home door jamb when not working out in the pool. Convenient loop to attach to pool entry bar and work out in shallow end. Love the feel and ease of strengthening muscles while in pool or outdoor setting. Medium resistance works for both my husband and I to share by increasing reps or lengthening distance from fulcrum. Sturdy!!
