Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

When using flippers, even the well-sized ones, my toes can irritated by rubbing against the plastic shell.
Also my ankles can get irritated when I have a lengthy kicking session, even cutting my skin from rubbing against the flippers’ entry point. These fin socks alleviate these problems quite well. No toe issues, no ankle issues, comfortable to use the flippers for 2000 meters of kicking drills.
