My hand placement in the water is much more consistently in the right place than with round paddles. The follow through as my hand passes my hips has more consistent resistance as well. I love these paddles.

These paddles look dauntingly large but in fact there are not at all cumbersome. They glide like butter and really help to develop the appropriate muscles. I find that my hands are relaxed while using them — which has reduced my hand fatigue.

I took a swim clinic with Swim Smooth and the instructor recommended these. I have used them Gracie and they are very helpful for guiding my hand entry correctly in the water. I didn’t like the at first because they were very humbling but I’ll be using them for drills for a long time!
