Olympic gold medalist Tyler McGill describes the importance of doing the drill of "Butterfly Arms with Freestyle legs" as two-time Olympian Adam Brown demonstrates.
This drill is great because the swimmer eliminates the undulation motion so that he/she can focus on a flatter body line in the water. Doing so allows you to work on driving to the top of your head forward from the start of the stroke to the end.
