SwimOutlet.com Triathlon Team Season Recap

September 28, 2015 | By

The first year of the SwimOutlet.com Triathlon Team is in the books: it was a wildly successful season with 29 age group podium finishes and six overall victories in its inaugural season. The team showed its versatility with impressive performances at every race distance from sprint to Ironman, racing at high-profile events across the country.

Scott Kolofer led the charge by dominating the Northern California triathlon scene, winning every USAP Events race he entered. Kolofer’s four victories show his potential to race at an elite level and are made even more impressive by the fact that he’s a full-time chiropractic student.

Evan Rudd excelled at the half-iron distance, winning the World’s Toughest Half in Auburn, CA, with a fifth place overall finish at Ironman Boise 70.3 in Idaho.

The team received outstanding support from its sponsors and would like to thank Roka, Louis Garneau, and Fluid for keeping the team outfitted with gear and well-fueled. The team also developed a partnership with USAP Events and will be back in 2016 to continue competing at the best race-series in California.
