          ABOUT Still Sitting

Still Sitting is a meditation supply company situated on beautiful Vashon Island, Washington, a puddle-jump or two from Seattle. It is owned, operated, labored over, and loved, by Koshin Christopher Cain and Soshin Lidunn Cain. They began Still Sitting in 2002 in order to provide something yogis know well – meditation supplies – to those who need them, as well as a way to provide for their family while establishing the Puget Sound Zen Center.

Every meditation cushion, jacket, and robe is made locally. Every seam is checked on Vashon Island before it ships out. They are meticulous about their work and know their trade – if you have a question about any of their products or how best to use them Still Sitting provides the information needed.

At Still Sitting, they look upon their work as Buddhist practice. They also take it as a pleasure – they enjoy this line of work, and trust you’ll like what they make, and what they find for you that others have made.
