We bought this as a gift for our son's swim team coach and he absolutely loved it. He can time the swimmers and take notes at the same time. He loved it.

More Information that might be helpful. I bought 12 Clipboards for an event. Event went great. Collage students had no trouble using them. Two of them we defective. One dead battery and one timer bad. Swim outlet replaced and covered return cost. Great support. The LR-44 button battery was difficult to replace; needed to pull two silverpins from clip board and remove 7 tinyScrews from back. I hadto look at a second clipboard to reassemble it.Not sure that unit will work on just solar power. When battery was removed it would not work on solar alone. There is no off switch. If stored for a long time make sure you have extra batteries. Bought 10 for under $2. No info on how long batteries last. Could be 10 years? Over all a positive experience!!

Works fine. Not to confusing. Limited instruction sheet.No information on how to change the battery. Couldn't find help on the internet.

Cool feature of having the stopwatch and calculator handy but the actual clip mechanism was very weak... so the primary function of the device always left papers on the ground!
