Absolutely great fit.  Very comfortable.  I especially like the firm band at the end of the leg openings.  It keeps the suit in place and doesn't allow it to ride up the leg.  I've only begun to swim with it; but the next real test will be how it holds up after repeated swims in the pool and rinsing!  If it holds up there I will be switching to this kind of suit from now on!

The TYR durafast splice square leg is great suit.  It fits great and is very durable.  I am very particular about my suits, as a former olympic swimmer you get spoiled with the products you receive.  This is a good one and you won't be disappointed.

this suit seems to hold up well to chlorine without stretching  or wearing thin very quickly

Good fit (34), colors (black/blue), style, black front liner. Best feature is that it is polyester/PBT, which I expect to last several years, and NOT lycra/spandex, which doesn't last more than a few months. 3" inseam, 10.5" side coverage. I was looking for something a little longer (mid-thigh, but not a jammer), but that's not a fault in the product, just my personal preference. Drawstring: two holes an inch apart, which is always better than just one hole.

Fits true to the sizing chart and is well made. It even has TYR's embroidered logo rather than the heat-transfered type like some other suits.

I just added swimming to my regular fitness regimen and knew board shorts were not right quite for the job but wasnt comfortable parading around in briefs. These were the perfect compromise.
The fit was right as well. I''m normally a 32-33 waist and the medium was perfect.

Heavy weight material hoping they will last the winter swimming indoors 3 days a week.

These shorts are absolutely the best, yes I like the way they look, but more importantly the way they function and last!!  I have been swimming with the US Masters for 5/6 years now and every 2-3 months I had to replace my speedo Lyrcra jammers due to the fact that they absolutely DO NOT last, and I rinse them out every time I am done.
By chance I happen to see the TYR Durafast on sale and purchased a pair………well a year later they are unfaded, the crotch area is not eaten out, and they are not loose and saggy like my old Speedos were after only a couple months of use.  And I am swimming about 3200 yards a swim practice 3-4 times a week and just rinsing them out with cold water and throwing them in my swim bag.  These shorts are the BEST, so after a year I bought a new pair of TYR(I lost some weight and went from a 32 to a 30 waist) or I would of kept swimming in the 32s.  And this second pair lasted me 2 years before they finally started to fade and the crotch finally started to get eaten out, so today I am purchasing my third pair!!!  You can't go wrong with these!!!

    Feels too big

the suit needs a little more stretch as it rides up on the legs.

I tried all the other brands and they were tight in the thigh and would ride up during swim practice.  My club pro recommended this brand and cut as the best they have found.  I''m 5''5" 150 lbs hwp with 32 waist,  there is ample room and things stay in place.  Very comfortable and the wife thinks they look great.

Swim to keep in shape 2x per week.
