I swim in the mornings before work and used to smell all day in the office. I tried all the other products as most people have and none of them really work.  Now, I just use Swimspray and a conditioner.  I've skipped the need for shampoo as I feel that my hair is clean after dumping it in chlorine anyway.  That make the product well worth the cost.  I do use it liberally all over my hair and skin.  I find that this really helps with my dry skin.

I've been a swimmer for many years, and always lived with the fact that chlorine is pretty much my natural stench. I tried SwimSpray for the first time this morning, and the heavens parted. This stuff REALLY works. My hair is soft and shiny, I smell like lotion and soap instead of a pool, and my skin isn't dry or irritated. I wish I would have had this stuff years ago. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable!  Swim Spray does everything it says it does.  I teach lessons and I am in the water with no cap for at least 3 hours.  It usually takes two days to get rid of the chlorine smell, and my hair never really recovers.  I used it once, and no chlorine smell whatsoever.  Not only that, but my skin did not itch and my hair was soft and manageable too!  It worked so well I even forgot to put on lotion after the shower.  That has NEVER happened.

My massage therapist who sees me sometimes after my swim session pokes fun at how he smells the chemicals on me, even when i didn't swim that day! and he is right. it stays in your pores. So I watched the video of this product, and now use it. Yes it is a small bottle, and can be a bit sour (so watch around eyes), but it's pure vit C. It works. I don't use it ev time i swim for the same reason as other reviewer: id go through the bottle very fast. Wish it was slightly less cost wise but hey, it saves my skin. it's worth it.

Only product that I've tried that actual does what it says.  It makes my hair feel normal again and my skin doesn't itch.

I have tried other chlorine removal products like "swimmers shampoos" before.  But I notice that I still smell like chlorine after using them in the shower.  When I use SwimSpray, that lingering chlorine odor disappears.  And my hair and skin feel better.
It's hard to tell that the product is working when you are using it.  Since the product is fragrance free and doesn't have soaps or other ingredients, it feels like I'm just spraying myself with water.  But, then all the chlorine is gone.  I actually like that it's so simple because I can continue to use (and smell like) my regular shampoo and soap.  I would highly recommend this stuff.

I swim in a community indoor pool and the chlorine is particularly high in the summer with all the campers and overly warm water.  The effects of chlorine are gone after using SwimSpray.  Love the benefit to my hair.  The directions suggest up to 30 sprays - hope I don't run out too fast.

My skin is very sensitive to the effects of chlorine, and so I gave this a try after hearing about it on a few swim news sites.  I decided to leave a review of my own because I could not find many out there.

I have to say, it really works!  After I use this product as directed, I can no longer smell the chlorine.  And if I follow up with a calming lotion (like Eucerin), my skin feels great and doesn't itch!   The spray really does more than just soap and lotion alone by removing the chemical.

The downside is that it takes a lot of pumps for me to cover my body after a swim session - and one could go through a bottle of this really quickly.  To conserve money, I have decided not to use this after every single swim session.  But overall, I have to say I am very happy with this product.

Its a good concept but realistically I hate having to spray myself down before I swim and then even after I get out of the water, i still smell and want to take a shower. You literally have to spray your WHOLE body down for this maybe to work. Got tired of spending so much time before the swim to spray.

Dr. Andrew Chadeayne invented SwimSpray in 2010, because the chlorine from swimming pools was driving him crazy. Dr. Chadeayne has been a swimmer his entire life.Like many swimmers, Dr. Chadeayne wasn’t bothered by the smell of chlorine: “I actually liked the smell, because it reminded me of swimming.” However, after earning his PhD in chemistry from Cornell University he became concerned about what that chlorine smell meant: “You smell like chlorine, because you are covered in chlorine. It’s like walking around covered in bleach all day. That’s not good for you.”

Dr. Chadeayne solved swimmers’ chlorine problems by using his chemistry background. After several months of testing, Dr. Chadeayne arrived at a unique vitamin C formulation. His wife named it SwimSpray. “At first, I only shared it with my friends. But soon, we all noticed that SwimSpray was really amazing. The chlorine smell was 100% gone. Our hair felt soft. Our skin stopped itching. It was absolutely incredible - a night and day difference. That’s when we realized that we should share the formula with other swimmers.” Dr. Chadeayne joined up with several of his former Princeton Swimming and Diving teammates to turn his invention into a commercial product.

SwimSpray has received widespread praise, because it solves swimmers’ number one problem with the sport - chlorine. “I think people just gave up on this problem,” says Dr. Chadeayne, “Swimmers’ shampoos have been notoriously ineffective since I was a little kid. Once folks use SwimSpray, they are shocked at the difference.”
