When I walk on the beach, I like to walk where the water is shallow. These help me keep sand off my feet so it is easy to rinse and go into my apt. without dragging in a lot of sand.

My 2nd pair. I wear them inside a slip on "beach" type of shoe to drive to a rec center and swim. I wear them to the pool and leave them on when I swim. This saves me from removing a spot of skin when I sometimes contact the pool side with my foot. I leave to go home I put the same beach waterproof shoes back on and I can drive without any problems. I get home and wash my suit and shoes to remove the chlorine from them.
