Swim through the water with ease in the ultra-lightweight Basic Skins L/S Rashguard which features great UV protection.
Had previously ordered the next larger size based on several reviews, but it was too big. Ordered my normal size and fits perfect.
Fit: Feels true to size

Perfect except for the neck
I really like this shirt. I just wish they made it with a lower neck line. This is just a bit too high.
Ok but not great
This shirt is OK, but not great at least for my needs. As others stated, the sleeves were a bit short and it was pretty tight. Neither size fit exactly right (and it's not forgiving in the belly area!). The material is a little thick, so not great for sun protection in warm climates. Not sure how it dries, as I returned it in favor of one that was far superior.

Fit: Feels too small
oneill rash guard
i got a rash guard because of my melanoma. it is supposed to fit very, very tight. i am 5'71/2" and weigh about 155. i usually take a large in a cotton or polyester shirt. i take a medium in the rash guard. it comes up to my waist brand new. after 1 year it is as long as my training suit. i am a competitive swimmer and this rash guard stays tight but it gets longer in the water and after wear. on freestyle it is difficult to swim but i do a stroke count. it adds two seconds per lap but i really like it and after 1 year i buy a new rash guard. i swim a 100 and 200 fly and the 200im. it is good for all strokes. the pricing is very good.
Great for a cool pool
I spend 4, 6 or more hours a week in the pool doing Ah Chi, Yoga and Palates, Arthritis Classes, Water Movement and swimming laps. Many of us in the pool use these shirts to keep ourselves warm after 2-3 hours in the cool pool. They're great!
Great fit and comfortable
Love the fit, Love the color. These shirts are great for playing Golf and swimming in if I choose to swim. Very hot where I live and these shirts save my arms and chest from over exposure from the Sun. Plan on wearing all year round so in the winter while the sun is out my arms will be warm. In the Summer with the 90 something degree heat I stay comfortable and don't get hot wearing it which was surprising. Wish I had one in every color

Love these shirts
This is the third one I have bought because they are so comfortable and fit perfectly .
Some reviews said shirt ran small, so I ordered the next size up. It was a bit too big so I think the sizing is pretty true. Arms are a bit long if you are on the short side. Else, I really like this shirt and will be ordering more in my normal size.
Color not as pictured
Thought this would be a great extra piece for my Colorado river trip. REally bad color. Not as light as the picture, more of a dead mint green.

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.
Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.
In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
