  • 11/5/2013 too loose for now

    rating star By Katherine

I haven't worn this yet - it just arrived yesterday - love the color and pattern - but it is a bit looser than I expected.  I'm 5"3", 140 lbs, muscular build (I wear size 2-4 pre-pregnancy, size 34 swimsuit).  I am 14 weeks along with my 2nd, and 'popped' very early.  My usual TYR lap suit was pulling hard at the shoulders, trying to keep up with the bump, so I took the plunge for a maternity suit.  I bought the small, and it seems to fit much more loosely than I would expect a lap swimming suit to fit.  It comes up nice and high in the front, but I'm concerned that once it gets wet, it will be like a saggy drag suit.  I suspect I may feel differently in 10 or 12 more weeks when my belly is that much bigger…. will try to update once I take it into the pool for its first workout.

  • 6/21/2016 Closest thing to a regular racing suit with my baby bump

    rating star By MRStanz

I have always been on the verge of medium to large, even pre-pregnancy due to larger hips and a long torso. I ordered the large in this suit and it fit well. It's well-made and I like that it's fully lined. The only part that was uncomfortable for me was how wide the crotch is. It rubs a bit at my underwear line. I ordered another suit from EQ Swimwear that I personally like better, but mostly because of the colors, not the fit.

  • 10/29/2015 Best purchase in 3mos

    rating star By Neha

I have only used the product for a week so I can't speak of durability yet. I am 5'9" tall, 146lbs pre-pregnancy (dress size 6) and 156lbs 6mos in (when I bought the suit). The suit fits great on my belly, has good coverage in places where I need it and has room for me to grow over the next couple of mos. Really glad I bought it.

  • 5/9/2015 straps a little loose but fits in the belly

    rating star By EmmyBear

It has a nice racer back but the top is a little loose, and I have enormous pregnancy boobs and am 5'7" so I think it's a design flaw.  It am just going to tie the straps together behind me and wear it anyway. Fits the enormous pregnancy belly just fine (I am just starting month 8 of pregnancy and weigh 182)

  • 2/23/2015 Roomy but useable

    rating star By Lauratogo

I'm petite but already enormous- just hit 3rd tri on my second baby and this suit finally fits. It's a little roomy in the butt and chest (I've got plenty of butt but a small chest) but everything stays in place for laps. I still prefer my bikini Speedo for comfort but if you're worried about modesty this suit is fine. The hot pink is a little bright for me and I feel a little balloon-like since there's no definition between belly & chest.

  • 4/25/2014 Great for pool exercise

    rating star By Rebecca

Great for lap swimming, haven't had any issues with fit, good coverage. Based on some reviews I ordered up to the large at first and it was gigantic, it could have fit two of me. Although, I didn't check the tag so maybe I was accidentally sent an XL. The medium is perfect, so I would say definitely order your regular size.

  • 11/3/2013 perfect maternity suit

    rating star By Jojo

I bought this suit about halfway through my pregnancy and it saw me through till the end, even after I gained 50 pounds.  I used it for regular lap/fitness swimming.  It fit well, was comfortable, and flattering.  No complaints - great purchase.

  • 10/4/2013 Pretty Suit, but Fits Strange

    rating star By KuTo

I really like the color and design on this suit. I originally ordered a large, I'm 5"9" and about 150 pounds before pregnancy. However the large was gapping at the chest area and the bottom, so I returned it for a medium. The medium still gaps slightly at the chest, but the back coverage is where I find the fit strange. The bottom doesn't have enough fabric so when I'm swimming, I constantly get the fabric bunching toward the middle. In addition, the back is really low, far lower than I'm used to, and I'm a pretty regular swimmer. I kept this suit because I was pretty desperate to get back into the pool.

  • 7/12/2013 So far so good

    rating star By AD

seemed to fit well  at 16 weeks pregnant with room to grow but not baggy. Would have preferred a cup bra over shelf bra but otherwise, i'm happy with it.

  • 6/12/2013 too big on top

    rating star By Marybeth W.

I have been swimming laps three times a week my entire pregnancy. I'm now 32 weeks and find that there's just no stretch left for my large belly in my normal swim suit.  I ordered both a small and medium, hoping this could get me through my last few months. I was very disappointed. The small ended up being the best fit (I 5"2" prepregnant 117 lb, now 134 lb). However, the top was huge. It gapped and I felt like I had no coverage (currently I wear a 32d). Once I got in the water I felt like I wouldn't be comfortable and worried about the suit not staying in place. It's a darling suit and I wish it worked. I'm sending both back.
