    Very good

I think the suit fits really nice, but the top could be a little tighter and maybe a little padding would be nice too.

    Functional suit for lap swimming

I'm happy that I can swim laps to stay active. I ordered a medium (one size up from my pre-maternity clothing size) and the fit is good. The top doesn't provide any structured breast support but the belly part fits well.

Worked well for lap swimming during pregnancy

This bathing suit worked well for my full pregnancy. I was a competitive swimmer as a kid and through high school, and I now swim on a masters swim team. I swim about 3 days/week for about 50 minutes (usually about 3000 yards each day). I'm 5'4", pre-pregnancy weight 127-130lbs. I typically wear a size 30. I initially wore a bigger size of a normal suit (size 34) in the beginning of my pregnancy, then started wearing this maternity suit (size small) at 22 weeks (weight 140-145lbs) and wore it through the end of my pregnancy at 39 weeks (weight 155-160lbs). I agree with the other reviews regarding the chest area being a bit big, particularly during the second trimester, although I grew into it by the end. It's not the most supportive, so I wore a two piece top underneath, which worked great. I was still swimming 3 days/week and about 2000-2500 yards each day by the end of pregnancy. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the suit did not last very long. It only lasted 12 weeks, so I had to order another one for the final 6 weeks of my pregnancy.Overall, this was a good bathing suit for lap swimming during pregnancy, and I would buy this one again for future pregnancies.Note: I did not try any other maternity bathing suits, so I cannot compare to other brands.

    Weird leg cut, runs small

I bought this suit and the Prego maternity sport suit. This one looked nicer on, and was lined unlike the other, but it has a very weird leg cut that feels too low and small unlike a normal lap swimming suit. It was also much tighter than the Prego suit, and didn’️t have pads in the chest area, which I liked about the other suit. For someone with very thin thighs in their second trimester, this would work. I kept the other for comfort and fit, but it didn’️t last long in the Chlorine. For fit, I’️m 5’️5â€? and my pre-pregnancy weight was 127, with a peak of 170 during pregnancy. This suit (small) felt tighter at 28 weeks than the regular speedo I had also bought in a size 8, which is what I used during my second trimester.
