I really wanted to love this skirt because it looked so good on the model. I was told that this material ran small but after receiving it, I found that that wasn't the case. I got a large and not only was it too big, but it was ill-fitting. I didn't think that a medium would work, so I returned it & decided not to get a smaller size (mainly because of the shipping fee) as that size may not work for me either.

I''m a size 14 in clothes and ordered the extra large. Fit perfectly. Loose around the waist so no muffin top. The short length is just what I wanted. Just enought to cover without looking like I''m in a mini skirt.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE!!! Ladies, we all know how seemingly impossible it is to find a swim bottom (skirted or otherwise) that fits right! After my last cute swim skirt finally started to fade and stretch, I began the hunt for another (black, because I think finding black tops that fit to be much easier...it's the bottoms that are impossible). I tried and returned multiple options before I got this one. I actually came back on here to buy a second one as back up (because you know whenever you find the perfect swimsuit, bra, underwear, jeans, etc. they discontinue it). Unlike most bottoms, this one doesn't squeeze you and and cause weird bulges or rolls that you otherwise don't have. It lays just right on the waist, nice and flat-no digging or muffin top. The gathering on the top camouflages the hip area and actually has a very flattering, slimming effect The swim panty underneath is comfy, and the skirt length is just perfect! I actually think this is sexier and much cuter than a normal bottom. It covers just the "problem areas". For me, that is just to the bottom of the cheek and top of the thighs. Enough coverage to feel confident but also feel& look great! If you bend over, you will see a peek of cheek, so if you need more thigh overage, this wouldn't be for you. I'm 36 with an athletic build, but I don't always have time to work out, so this is something I can wear anytime, even when my schedule has been too busy to do those extra squats :). I am a 5'3", size 10, 48 year old woman who wanted more coverage on my hinder without looking matronly. I bought a medium and it fits nicely. The only odd thing (that I can overlook) is a seam right across the middle of my buns. It prevents the skirt part from riding up all the way to the waist band area. Still, I am really happy with this purchase.
