Shebeest® was founded over ten years ago by Claudia Ried, a woman who knows her biking. She was riding her mountain bike through China, Russia and Pakistan for a trip that was 800 miles long when she realized that there should be a clothing company that just has women's bike clothes, including bike tops, cycling jerseys and bike shorts. So Claudia Reid created Shebeest, and she was the first to reach that goal.
Once Shebeest got its footing making Shebeest bike tops, Shebeest cycling jerseys and Shebeest bike shorts, they expanded to triathlon gear for women like Shebeest tri bras, Shebeest tri tops and Shebeest tri shorts. From their home base in Boulder, Colorado, Shebeest keeps making women's bike clothes that are stylish and able to hold up during the most intense performances.
Shebeest also rides the line between environmentally friendly and durable. Some of the Shebeest bike tops and Shebeest bike shorts are made with Stretch Bamboo™ which contains bamboo fibers that act as a natural antibacterial, a wonderful source of ventilation and are biodegradable. Also, select Shebeest cycling jerseys and Shebeest cycling shorts are made with Ecowic™ fabric which is composed of recycled yarn and it has UV protection. Technowool™ wicks moisture, provides insulation and is 70% made from recycled materials. They strive to keep improving their Shebeest bike tops and Shebeest tri tops while focusing on bettering the planet and the women who conquer it.
