About This brand

SIDI® was founded in 1960 by Dino Signori whose love for cycling steered the company away from mountaineering footwear to bike shoes. In Maser, Italy, SIDI was a pioneer, creating many features that either improved on the first bike shoe models or were the first.

The very first SIDI bike shoe was made with adjustable screws. Because of this, cyclists stopped nailing cleats into the bottoms of their bike shoes. Another innovation that SIDI started was creating a SIDI bike shoe that had a Nylon sole for durable stiffness. SIDI also created the first modern bike shoe that used Velcro® in place of laces. They were even the first to make mountain bike shoes with lugged rubber soles for improved stability and durability. They also innovated style when they were the first to have multicolored bike shoes on the outside and the inside with a 2-colored sole.

They are still improving on their SIDI bike shoes by continuously testing and studying research. This led to the birth of SIDI Aeronet Light, an aerospace material that allows some of the SIDI bike shoes to be 60 grams lighter without losing their shape or toughness. When you are cycling to get to the Kona Ironman® you know how every grams counts. Also, their SIDI High Security Velcro® piece was the first no-slip bike shoe strap ever made. SIDI has respect for the past, they are the last company that designs and makes their bike shoes in Europe, with their sights set on the future.
