Way, way too buoyant!  As a result it was cutting me under my arms.  After cutting about 2 inches off the top and bottom, works much better.
Now I am happy with it.

I tried this when I did my water aerobics and found it cumbersom and  uncomfortable.  It would not stay at my waist but rode up under my arms and breasts.  No matter how tight I tried to make it it would not work so I do not use it.

This was a great purchase. I bought this belt for aqua jogging in order to help myself heal from an injury so I could get back to marathon training. It fits great, kept me at about neck height in the lake, and didn't get in the way of my arms moving back and forth. Nor did it chafe my sides. I highly recommend this product!

I use the belt in aqua aerobics calsses in deep water, it does a good job, however the belt material is thinner and not as soft as earlier models, but good value.

For my son who fractured his heel but still wanted to stay in condition for cross country season.  Haven't heard any complaints from him (except he leaves it and his wet towel in the middle of the stairs when he comes home!)

It works fine.
